If you're still here I take it you have decided that you are overweight and need to loose some.
Before we start talking about how to loose the pounds, I really believe we need to understand why we are overweight, and remember I am not a doctor, nurse, or any kind of dietitian. I go by research that I do and life experience. What I say to you is simply my opinions and observations.
Most of us gained the weight because we ate more food than we burned off as energy. The energy we didn't burn off our bodies are storing as fat.
If we want to we can turn some of this fat into muscle by exercise, or again by exercise we can just burn the fat off our bodies completely. Bottom line is that what we eat and what we burn go hand in hand whether we want them to or not.
Now we have to talk mentally why we got fat. I really don't believe that we made a conscious decision to eat a lot and then lay around like a beached whale. We'll discuss more on this next post.
