FIGURE YOUR FATS !

We've talked about fats before, now I'll show you how to figure the numbers. A gram of fat is 9 calories, it is suggested an adult have no more than thirty percent of your daily calories from fat.

So here is the math example, if you are let's say on a 1200 calorie a day diet. Multiply 1200 by .30, which will give you 360.00 let's say 360, now divide that number by 9, your answer is 40. So on a 1200 calorie diet your daily fat intake should not exceed 40. No more than 10% should be from saturated fats, and absolutely no transfats.
