Using the food pyramid which is put out by the government, figure out the amount of servings from each food group that you should be consuming each day. For instance I allow myself six servings of bread or grains per day, so I write down in a small notebook bread 111111. I then cross each out as I eat them. Be aware of what a serving consists of, it may not be as big as you think.
