Make sure you eat with the TV off. Watching a movie or a program serves as a distraction from your meal and while this may seem like a good thing, it's not. You want to concentrate on the speed and the amount you are eating. Try instead playing some upbeat music. It might inspire you to want to eat less and move to the music.
