MORE VEGGIES, MORE GAS !

I just got back on my diet after the holidays and after abusing myself with all the wrong food and in the wrong portions. I cut out the large carbs and sugar because of my diabetes and incorporated more fruits and veggies into my meals and snacks.

If you are doing the same then I don't have to tell you that the first couple days or so of this new daily diet can be very gassy and therefore very uncomfortable. I think the best course of action is to keep some Beano or some Gas-x in your medicine cabinet. Do not give up on the produce, it's too good for you to skimp on that. Perhaps starting slow and building up on them is the answer. Whichever you decide is right for you make sure the outcome is at least 3-5 servings a day if not more.
