Kids and Obesity

A federal task force is urging doctors to screen for obesity in children from 6 to 18 years old based on their BMI numbers. The BMI is the relationship between your height and weight remember. Although there is a chart to figure out someone's BMI , it's really pretty simple. Just look at them.

If you can't decide if someone is overweight or not, I wouldn't worry about them too much. If someone looks overweight, fat, or obese then they probably are and need to loose some pounds. I don't think we need a Federal Task Force in on it. Life is not complicated and neither is knowing you're obese or not. The diet is not hard to master either, eat less and move more. Now don't go running to the Feds with this secret or who knows what they'll come up with to do tomarrow.
