The Mediterranean Diet seems to be one of the more sensible ways to loose weight. It is said that it not only helps you to loose weight but is very healthy as well.
The diet relies heavily on the use of olive oil, red wine, grains, and fruits and vegetables. Fish is also recommended as much as three times a week because of the omega3 oil.
They say that even though as much as 40% of the Mediterranean peoples diets are from fats, they have a much lower incidence of heart disease. It's worth checking out if you are looking for a particular diet to follow.
