It doesn't matter if we're talking about exercise or eating, little things add up to a lot.
Many of us discount all the little things we do each that burn calories, but don't because they do matter. A doctor from the Mayo clinic did a study and found that simple things we do throughout the day can add up to loosing pounds.
Some of those activities include standing instead of sitting, tapping you foot, and walking further and more often. Every move you make counts so start moving as often during the day as you can.
The same is true for how we gain weight. We tend not to count the calories in the little things we put in our mouths throughout the day. That sip of soda, the tasting while we're cooking, or that little piece of candy or cough drop all add up. For a day or two, write down everything that goes in your mouth and you may be surprised how it all adds up.

Great tips! I'm on Weight Watchers, and the plan I'm on has me writing down everything. I tell everyone, you never know how much you're eating until you have to write it. Keeping track also stops me from nibbling on the crap.
